Privacy Policy

Driftd is designed to be a private, lightweight game. The app does not include third-party advertising, analytics SDKs, user accounts, developer-operated servers, or tracking.

Information Driftd stores

Driftd stores gameplay progress and settings on your device. This can include your optional player name, best score, runs played, Credits earned in the game, XP, level, streak state, completed achievements, unlocked cosmetics, equipped modifiers, daily challenge progress, sound settings, haptic settings, reduced motion settings, tap-only controls, high contrast settings, and notification preference.

iCloud sync

If iCloud is available for your device, Driftd may use Apple's iCloud key-value storage to keep your progress in sync across devices signed in with the same Apple ID. This sync is provided by Apple. Driftd does not operate a separate server for your progress and does not receive your Apple ID.

Notifications

If you choose to enable notifications, Driftd may schedule local reminders for daily challenges and streaks. You can turn these off in Driftd settings or in iOS Settings at any time.

Purchases and subscriptions

Driftd may offer an optional DriftPass Premium auto-renewable subscription through Apple's in-app purchase system. Purchases, renewals, cancellation, refunds, and billing are handled by Apple. Driftd checks your App Store entitlement on your device to unlock Premium DriftPass rewards, but Driftd does not operate a separate purchase server.

Data collection and tracking

Driftd does not sell personal information, does not track you across apps or websites, and does not collect personal data for advertising or analytics.

Retention, deletion, and consent

Driftd keeps local gameplay progress and settings until you delete the app or reset progress in Driftd settings. Resetting progress replaces the saved Driftd profile on your device and, when iCloud is available, the Driftd progress synced through Apple's iCloud key-value storage. You can revoke notification consent by turning off notifications in Driftd settings or iOS Settings.

Third parties

Driftd does not share user data with third-party advertising networks, analytics providers, or tracking SDKs. Apple processes App Store purchases and may provide iCloud sync and notification delivery as part of iOS and the App Store.

Children's privacy

Driftd is a general-audience game and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes

This policy may be updated if Driftd's features change. The effective date at the top of this page will be updated when the policy changes.
